Security Officer Roving Patrol with Active Clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry and/or exit of personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Assist with site incident reporting, alarm response, and follow-up communication related to security-related matters, while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
