What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, and perimeter access points, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with site protocols, and report irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with security-related inquiries, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the site.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• 21+ years of age is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
