About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Services Associate in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, property-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to identify unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues, reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Support a professional living environment by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with routine security-related interactions in a courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills
