About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in manufacturing and industrial locations, you will also contribute to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials where required, and support site rules related to entry, exit, and restricted areas.
  • Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with personnel, visitors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
  • Licensed by the New York State Department of State.

  • Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
