Security Officer Patrol Associate

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Food/Beverage, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine rounds, and providing customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and/or the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report security-related policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and sharing timely updates regarding incidents, hazards, and/or operational disruptions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
