Security Officer - Patrol Associate

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support vehicle and delivery traffic procedures in accordance with location policies.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and shift handoff communications regarding patrol activity, incidents, and/or other notable security-related events.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
