Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Response Specialist in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government education location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location policies, helping to support an orderly environment for students, staff, and authorized guests.
- Assist with reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations observed during patrols or while assigned to the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
