Security Officer - Patrol Response

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Mapleton, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities, assist with traffic and/or pedestrian flow during shift operations, and report maintenance, operational, or security-related concerns to the appropriate site personnel.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
