Security Officer Patrol Response

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points, observe incoming and outgoing activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or property-related issues according to site expectations.
• Support daily operations by assisting with visitor directions, answering general questions, and completing routine reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or observed conditions.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification.
