Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Response in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activities.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify potential hazards, policy violations, and/or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access within a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Support incident reporting, shift handoffs, and daily logs with clear, accurate documentation of patrols, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
