About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Response Specialist in Glassboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for staff, visitors, and/or vendors, and document security-related incidents, daily activities, and policy concerns in accordance with site expectations.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 years old for armed roles.
  • Licenses and certifications: Guard card/license, alarm panel experience, CPR certification.
