Security Officer Patrol Response Specialist
About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Response Specialist in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as permitted by site requirements.
- Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help identify unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues that may require notification.
- Support daily property operations by assisting with directional information, answering general questions, and completing routine reports related to security-related activities and incidents.
Requirements
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
