What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols, reporting concerns or irregularities as needed.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining logs, and sharing timely information regarding security-related concerns, facility issues, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $26.16 / Hour

Schedule: Daytime shifts from 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
