What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and assist with access control processes for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
- Support emergency preparedness efforts by following post orders, communicating clearly during hazardous material-related or facility incidents, and helping coordinate orderly response actions with site personnel and first responders.
Minimum Requirements
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
