As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Terrell, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control concerns, and potential hazards while maintaining professional interactions with onsite personnel.
Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
