As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Ponca City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities through required reports and logs.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
