Security Officer Patrol Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with campus contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, assist with directions and information, and report maintenance and security-related concerns.
• Support campus events and daily operations by following post orders, submitting incident reports, and providing a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

DayTime: Wed 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM, Thur 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM, Fri 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
