Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support people first through teamwork, reliability, and integrity while using an agile, innovative approach to daily responsibilities.

• DayTime: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, assisting with directions, badge or sign-in processes, and other security-related support duties.
• Support emergency preparedness efforts by following post orders, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and coordinating with first responders and/or medical personnel during urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
