Security Officer Patrol Operations

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while helping to verify access authorization and following site protocols for deliveries, contractors, and guests.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal teams regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or conditions that may affect the location.

Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
