What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, visitor screening practices, and orderly movement throughout the location.
- Assist with de-escalation efforts, provide directions and general assistance, and help support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
