What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional environment by assisting with visitor directions, access control activities, and other security-related duties aligned with the needs of the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Information
This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact in a caring, people-first environment. As part of a pilot program initiated by Genentech, this position is eligible to receive additional monetary compensation for working night shifts. The amount varies depending on the specific shift (weekday vs. weekend midnights) and will be discussed if the candidate is selected for a final interview.
