Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive manufacturing and operations location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, perimeter, entrances, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.
• Aid with traffic flow, parking guidance, and visitor direction as needed while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
