Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

Serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution as an Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mesquite, TX. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires operation of a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Support a secure environment through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Report unusual activity, hazards, damaged property, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour
• Schedule: DayTime
• Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
