Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Full Time in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and remain visible to help deter incidents.
You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to supervisors and/or local contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols.
- Support daily operations at an industrial location by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
