Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as College Campuses, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy college campus, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post, requiring patrol responsibilities that align with Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first approach, delivered through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and assist with enforcing location rules, posted requirements, and authorized access procedures.
• Support daily operations by communicating with employees, contractors, and visitors, providing directions and information, and escalating maintenance, hazard, and/or security-related issues as appropriate.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Schedule

Full Time. Daytime shift, Monday through Friday, 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM.

Pay

$16.33 / Hour
