Security Officer Patrol Driver Full Time

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Boyertown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Carry out regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain vigilance over entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site policies, and document observations, incidents, and daily activities in required reports.
• Support posted orders for a chemical and petrochemical environment by remaining attentive to restricted areas, following location rules, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications may be required prior to employment.

• Knowledge of safety protocols.
