Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role
As an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location in Cartersville, GA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will support a caring team culture through clear communication, reliability, integrity, and an agile approach to daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, storage, loading, office, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and/or deliveries while following location-specific post orders and reporting procedures.
- Support incident documentation, communicate with site contacts and/or local responders when needed, and assist with maintaining orderly operations during routine and emergency situations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
Pay
$17.68 / hour

- Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
