Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$15.50 per hour.
