Security Officer Patrol Driver Assessment

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Assessment in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the entertainment venue, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, providing assistance and reporting maintenance, operational, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
