About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Assessment in Monroe, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This part-time, unarmed patrol officer role at a retail location requires a valid driver's license. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and other policy violations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$17.50 - $18.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Saturday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sunday: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
