Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, yard, parking areas, trailer locations, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities according to site expectations.
• Support order and continuity of operations by following post instructions, reporting maintenance or operational concerns that could affect the location, and assisting with directional guidance during peak shipping and receiving periods.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
