Security Officer Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a respected financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, verifying credentials when required and communicating with staff regarding authorized entry and/or deliveries.
• Support security-related operations at a financial services location by observing customer traffic, assisting with directional questions, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues as appropriate.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Age 18 or older for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
