Security Officer Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and security-related responses when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through the appropriate chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility-related buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and document deliveries, visitor activity, and other site-related information according to post instructions.
• Support emergency and weather-related response activities as directed, including communicating important information and helping to maintain orderly site operations during changing conditions.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Ability to respond calmly and problem-solve in emergencies.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
