Security Officer Patrol

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access expectations, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report discrepancies or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional work environment by following post orders, communicating clearly with staff and guests, and assisting with security-related requests consistent with location expectations.
Requirements
- EMT certification is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills
- Ability to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
