Security Officer Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries entering and leaving the location, verifying access permissions and following post orders for restricted or controlled areas.
- Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance when needed, and communicating clearly with site personnel regarding security-related issues and/or incidents.
Requirements
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
