Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns, and communicate observations to management and local responders when needed.
• Support access control and closing procedures by observing entry and exit activity, assisting with crowd flow, and documenting security-related incidents and/or daily activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
