Security Officer Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a high-energy retail and entertainment location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail and entertainment location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, as conditions vary by site.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, helping to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Aid with access control, crowd flow, and guest questions while supporting a welcoming environment and following Allied Universal post orders.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
