About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries entering and leaving the location, verifying credentials and/or following visitor and driver check-in procedures as directed by site policies.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing package handling areas, noting damaged property or unsecured access points, and communicating security-related concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
