Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in Robards, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, exits, loading areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with crowd flow during busy periods, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by observing customer and employee activity, checking doors and gates, and following post orders for opening, closing, and after-hours patrol routines.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
