Security Officer Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery activity as directed, and document unusual conditions, damaged property, and/or policy-related concerns.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with traffic and pedestrian flow, and following post orders related to shipping, receiving, and facility access.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
