Security Officer Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support access control procedures for restricted and operational areas.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
