Security Officer Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities in a food and beverage production and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify approved entry and exit activity, and communicate with site personnel and visitors regarding location rules and reporting procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and notify the appropriate contacts when conditions may require follow-up.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Access control and badge experience.
