Security Officer Patrol

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in the tech and telecom industry, you will also support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity. This role requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work as part of a caring, innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for staff, guests, and/or vendors while following site protocols for visitor management and credential checks.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site contacts, providing directions and assistance, and completing required logs, reports, and other security-related records.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
