About the role
Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in the tech and telecom industry, you will also support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity. This role requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work as part of a caring, innovative team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for staff, guests, and/or vendors while following site protocols for visitor management and credential checks.
- Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site contacts, providing directions and assistance, and completing required logs, reports, and other security-related records.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
