Security Officer Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Associate in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support site rules related to deliveries, employee entry, and restricted areas.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Computer proficiency is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
