Security Officer Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and report irregularities involving restricted areas, deliveries, or after-hours activity.
• Support site operations by following post orders, observing for environmental and operational issues, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

DayTime: Fri 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Sat 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM, Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
