Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in China, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor and vehicle screening procedures in accordance with site policies and operational needs.
Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation related to security-related activities, maintenance concerns, and policy violations observed during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
