Security Officer Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support orderly operations during routine and urgent care activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points and observe foot and vehicle traffic, helping to support authorized entry and a professional environment for those entering and leaving the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or policy-related concerns, and communicate relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
