Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, people-first approach while working as part of a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floor areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, with awareness that conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and suspicious behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support loss prevention and other security-related efforts by observing customer and employee activity, reporting unusual conditions, and following post orders for incident response.
Minimum Requirements
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
