Security Officer Patient Support Patrol

As a Security Officer Patient Support Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, hallways, waiting areas, and/or other assigned spaces to support access control practices and observe for security-related concerns.
• Assist with de-escalation, directions, and general assistance for guests and/or personnel while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Hospital positions require compliance with applicable vaccination requirements.
• The client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
