About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control, visitor directions, and other security-related support functions.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with hospital personnel, visitors, and first responders during routine activities and/or urgent situations.

Requirements

  • Hospital-required vaccines are required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required by the role.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
  • Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required by the role.
  • Knowledge of hospital-specific policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly and professionally to emergencies.

$16.00 / Hour

DayTime: Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
